car dies randomly when it settles into idle??

so i have a weird problem

for the past couple days my car has been blowing the EGI fuse when it idles

its done it twice in 3 days, never under driving, only on idle

then the last time it did it, i didnt have a 30 amp fuse to replace it, so i just stuck a 60 in there to get my car home

i installed my engine torque dampener, but i forgot to replace the 60 amp fuse with a 30

so i went out to test the car, and the car just died on idle

so i went to check the fuse, it wasnt blown, so i pulled it out and put it back in, and the car started back up just fine...but then when it settled back into its idle, it just cut out again

so wierd

any ideas of what to look for cus i dont know where to start

thanks,
VJ

i found 1 issue...2 wires that went to some of the emission stuff under the UIM were frayed and sparking

it almost set the car on fire this morning!!! it was smoking like hell under the UIM

so i fixed that, and for now at least the problem seemed to go away

but on a better note, i finally got my Brides in
