Car died help!

My first run at the 1/4 for the day and here is what happened.....I think my clutch slipped so when i shifted to 3rd I bounced off the rev limiter. Cars dies mid track...lights were on the dash..I turn it over will rolling and it starts roughly. (14.6@70 yahoo!)Continue to get my timeslip my car dies when i stop. rough to start but get it back moving until ultimately i dies and wont start. I tow it 100 miles back home.

It trys to turn over but weirdly the rpms don't budge from "0".

I checked the plugs for spark i have spark.

Check the engine codes i have one for the 0xygen sensor.

I figured it was flooded? No luck cleaning the old plugs..Trying again right now with new plugs.

Using a wrench on the main pulley it turns fine. Oil level is fine, coolant looks fine, MAP sensor is on.

I'm going out now to try to unflood it and install brand new plugs. I'm going to unhook the battery and reset. Any other suggestions? It went from running normal to dead in seconds... TIA !

So you cant start it anymore ? Does the engine shake violenty while in the engine bay ? Does the exhaust now pop ? I dont think it could have flooded. I want to say it popped but there needs to be more info. Try to get a compression check is the first thing you should maybe do. Otherwise check your lines to make sure nothing came off or loose or has a leak. Good luck.

reset ecu, new plugs, atf, tried it with a jump...nothing..I can hear the compression pulses. Will have to do a compression test in the am. I'm confused though, your supposed to do this test with a warm motor. What other possibility is there???!?!?

did you check for fuel?

you gotta make sure fuel is actually getting to the engine, not just if the fuel pump is running. try spraying starter fluid down your UIM

take a look at the crank pick ups. are you getting fuel? the pedal should be stiff with the car off when you pump it.
