Smile Can't wait for my Top Secret BNR stage 2s...

Spoke with Bryan at BNR and asked him to make me the guinea pig for the "Top Secret" turbos. I suppose I need to send him a copy of my clearance in order to run them on the 7 .

Sometime soon they should be shipped to Kan's and ready for install. I'm keeping them sequential in the hopes to keep some low end. We're also pulling my motor out and porting the **** out of it (KD only ported the intake), removing all the a/c stuff, and I'm thinking of trying out a midpipe again. Throwing some 850s in the primaries as well.

Sometime in January I'll have dyno results up. Hoping for some good numbers.....hopefully this will be a viable alternative to going single.

I'll keep all ya'll posted

Dam!! Does this mean I have to get my hands dirty again?! What were we thinking getting in the race car business??

Oh wait, that's right , I keep forgetting how much fun it is.

Yeah, I'd kinda like to see him pushing 425 to the wheels as well. Looks like its time for us to work tha magic.

So when are you gonna go bridgey like me??

Sounds good Richm looking foward to your numbers. Bryan just shipped my stage 2s back to Dave this past Monday so hopefully I should know something soon. He went with the carbon seals rather than the dynamic seals in mine since I'll be selling the car this spring - don't really want to be a guinea pig - that's up to you guys

Finally someone gettings the KDR's and running sequential. Aren't they only good up to 15 psi sequentially? Can't wait to see your dyno's, might convince me not to go single if they are good.

BNRs, not KDRs . Bryan told me last night they're good to 20psi....I have to get further clarification as to whether I can run that level all day. I'm planning on dynoing at 15psi and increasing boost from there.

Remember, I'll have a freshly Kan-ported motor, so need to break her in first. I can put a shitload of miles on quickly though.

Ihor is moving to TX soon so I'll be able to go head to head against the vaunted GT3540. We'll see what happens....I'm the better driver of course, so you'll have to keep that in mind

Ah, I was wondering where you've been. I've missed your inciteful and eloquent posts .

Kan was porting motors when you were playing with G.I. Joes and watching the Smurfs on saturday mornings. I think I'm in good hands .

Kind regards,

Should be a beast, Rich. How you afford to do this and eat at the same time I will never know

If half your turbo studs twist off like mine did I found new grade 8 ones at the hardware store which I liberally smeared anti-seize on.

You guys are pathetic cutting on Rikki like that just cause he was trying to add some helpful info

Here's a kid that has a better car than you and knows more than you about rotaries and makes more money at his job than you and probably gets tons of girls unlike you guys and all this at a young age...and you guys are about to hit your midlife crisis (wait looks like you already have)

The jealousy really shows through

Uhhh, no. I don't know you Snook (I assume you're an out of work psychologist?), but I am not yet 30. Goodfella is younger than I and I don't believe anyone judges the quality of life on engines, money and number of dates as you imply. I am sure Rikki is a good kid (if he is in fact young? I have no idea) as well. Why the need to get so defensive?

If anyone has a crisis it's you. There are programs available, get help.

Please, enlighten me. Tell me about my car. Tell me about how much I know about rotaries. Tell me about how much money I make. PLEASE tell me about my job; I'd love to hear that. Tell me about my situation with the ladies. Above all, tell me about what goes through your mind before you post something like the above drivel.

I was just messin' with Rikki, and if you'll notice he didn't get offended. We have a forum relationship based on all sorts of complicated stuff, but including respect.....something I doubt you're familiar with.

There, I've said my piece. If you'd like to continue this, please PM me. I don't want to see this thread get trashed with bullshit.

If you like I can explain your job, money, car, rotaries, girl friend, etc. to you.

....but I think I'll wait until this weekend when we're under your car. That way you'll be less likely to throw wrenches at me. Don't want to scratch up that pretty paint.

You need to do the exhaust porting to make any decent power. You just have to know where to stop. My exhausts are ported and I have no problems with high temp intake charges. Basically mine are cleaned up a and opened up a bit. Rich, f sequential. Too much bullshit to break and get in the way when you work on the car. Stupidest system in my opinion. Here's a pic of my ports

You may have to turn the brightness up on your monitor to actually see the outline of the port, but here is a pic of my stock port (left), vs Pineapple Large Street port (right)

At least I think this is my motor. Dave wasn't there when I was looking at the motor. Here's another shot.
