Question cant start car...

what am i missing here? i hope my motor is not dead. last time i drove the car it overheated... this was a month ago. now when i go to start her up (having to use jumper cables) i hear the motor crank over but very slowly. im trying to figure out what is going wrong? bad starter? dead motor? i checked all the fuses, and the car is mostly stock. im literally about to put her up for sale on the furom as i have only been able to drive this car for about 1 year out of the 3 that i have had it... arrrggg

I've had a similar problem... Have you cleaned the battery cables and terminals? That's what it was for me.
