can't get fuel pressure over 31psi....

i have a single turbo det up but this is fuel related so i thought i'd post it here...

i have 550 primaries, 1600cc secondaries, kd2r rail, walboro 255 pump, aeromotive fpr.

fuel pressure is checked before the apr and is only 31 psi, even if i pinch the return line i get 31 psi, even with the screw backed all the way out... ususally by doing this i get a little spike, but i get nothing. i am replacing the fuel filter, but i'm sure it's more than a clogged filter.... i have been told that the pump may be leaking because the walboros have to sit just so... i will look into this too...

is there anything else i am missing>? fuel is coming threw the return just fine so there isn't any fuel restrictions in the lines, beside maybe the old filter..... any input would be good. thanks!

Possible faulty FPR? Also check it's vacuum source.

yoo dude , i have the same exprince that im using 1600cc for the secondary and intank fuel pump ..for the 1600cc is a ig injector you neeed to have big fuel pump like 1000 hp external pump..trust me you will blow your engine shortly ,cos i blew my engine within 2000 km, i never had exprince with wallbro but i have a sard 280l/h intank fuel pump that time...and i blew up my engine cos the fuel pump not strong enough

1. Do you still have the stock fuel pressure regulator? The stock fuel pressure at idle is 28-32psi. It sounds like your stock fuel pressure regulator is still there.
2. Did you bypass the fuel pump resistor? Fuel pump powered through the stock system runs at a lower voltage at low rpms due to the fuel pump resistor.
Check those two thing.
