Can you Upgrade or improve stock Water Temp and Oil pressure gauges?

OK these are the gauges i am going to go with:
Already have a Boost gauge.
2nd gauge gonna be a A/F ratio gauge.

Which leads to my question.

I think its a waste to get another Water Temp
and Oil pressure gauge, since the FD3S already
comes with them stock.

So are there any way to make the Water TEmp and
Oil pressure gauge work better? Improve them?
has to be something...

Think people think. Plus I dn't want to clutter my dash
with all those gauges...

I know I cant be the 1st to think of this

www.iluvmyrx7.com has an article about linearizing your water temp gauge, as well..

you can improve the stock water temp. but why? the stock has really no exact temperatures. its just if its hot or cold. a better water temp shows the temperatures and you will know when the car is getting too hot and stop the car at a certain level if its heating up.

True, but when you calibrate it to in the linearization procedure, you know what temp hot is and you know about what temp at normal is. Do you actually read the numbers on your water temp gauge? Maybe for the first few weeks but after that you are just going by needle movement anyway. Of course, I'm still getting an aftermarket gauge since I am getting a 3-gauge single din anyway.

I don't see anything wrong with the stock oil pressure gauge. If its acting funny, just buy a new sender. Otherwise it has a numerical readout and seems to be very responsive and sensitive.

Think Digital----> 207 degrees is a lot clearer than about halfway.
