Can you turn up the boost whith an ECU

Hello !
Can I turn the boost up whith an aftermarket ECU
only, or do I have to buy a boostcontroller and put a valve in the vacuum line to the wastgate ?
I mean if its possible to alter the signal to the wastgate solenoid.

Some aftermarket ecu's allow you to control boost (PFC for one). The reprogrammed units like M2 and Pettit do not. You will need a boost controller or some needle valves.

yeah, apexi power fc does, I think haltech does too but not sure.
