Both sets of plugs look like you're really running lean.
Something is not quite right, what are you're mods?

Might be coolant burning with plugs like that....

jc. Don't drive your car hard until you find out more about your plugs...or the cause of your improper mixtures.

you are running a little stoich and you could be burning coolant. do you get a puff of white sweet smelling smoke when u start your car? when u go to fill up and then start teh car to leave do you get a littel puff of that same smoke? take a cloth hold it over your exhaust about 5 inches away, for about 10 secs then smell teh cloth does it smell sweet?

i dont think you put the right plugs in teh righ tpics, it seems that u have one of each in each picture one T one L. the plug on the left being the Trailing and on the right being Leading. if your the plugs on teh pics are correct then your injectors are dirty and one of your rotors is gettign more fuel then the other. pelase look over teh plugs and let us know

Thanks for the replys

I think the dealer fucked up and mixed the plugs. I could have sworn I pulled a trailing from a leading and visa versa. ...you allways gotta do it your damn self, uhg!

Yeah, it runs extremely rich. I'm running a pettit ECU but not dyno tuned. You can't start it with the garage closed or you'll cry and choke.

Mods: Blitz intake, Pettit, exhaust, Pettit ECU, Greddy SMIC, was running non sequential but changed it back to check my 2nd turbo.

Hi Go Racer...

What Rich...? If you were running rich then the plugs should be Black in color or really dark brown. But your plugs are white...?

Do the cloth over the exhaust test...
And change those plugs...

Am I mixing up rich and lean?

The puff of smoke is normal if i'm not mistaken upon warmup. You can smell the strong fumes when it starts.
I will try that test thing tomorrow.

Give the man a cupey doll..."lol"

Well i'd say the dealer mixed them up. I paired them 7&9 together for the next two pics and you can tell.

Well two are white-ish and two are brownish/black with crap on them. The dealer mixed up the leading and trailing plugs and I can't remember which pair went where.

Is it possible to be running lean on leading and rich on trailing, or visa versa?

As far as smoke on startup, I thought that was normal when the engine was ice cold and you tap off the cat' warm up.

the darker plugs are leading and the whiter plugs are trailing. the smoke is not normal, depending on what u do before shut down, what condition your turbos are in if your oil seals are going, that woudl all yeild to blue grey smoke...white wold be condenstion or coolant burning, and black is pretty normal as thats fuel. some white is pretty normal if you get condensation, but if it smells sweet then thats your coolant. you shouldnt be gettign any white smoke almost never. condensation doesnt happen often. pull one of your intercooler pipes off to see if there is oil in the intake.
did u go to the dealer to take the plugs taken out?
the plugs also say L or T on them? so how can u not know which goes where. u running rich at idle has nothing to do with what the car runs like on boost, and you shoudl not think your car is running rich just beacuse of it popping or running rich at idle cause its obvisouly NOT rich when u are driving or on boost. check your oxygen sensor make sure your fuel filter is not dirty (should be replaced every 10k) and what boost are u running?

Condenstation sounds right for the white smoke.

I pulled the plugs out this time and it was the T & L that I noticed and not the color of the burned ends.

Yes, oil in pipes but also heard this was normal as it's a slight amount.

Fuel filter is changed every 15k.

Have not had the car dyno tuned, since the Pettit ECU isn't tunable.

Have not checked for O2 sensor error codes.

Running 14lbs of boost.

FDs tend to run rich at idle, but can still run lean under boost. 14 lbs is a lot of boost for the stock fuel pump/stock injectors. Not saying you can't do it, but your fuel system needs to be in top shape.

I thought Pettit "tuned" your ECU according to your mods. Did you buy it from them, or used? If used, what is it tuned for?

I agree with the above with respect to your plugs.

Is your idle rough when you first start the car? Smoke is not normal on startup. You have gotten some pretty good advice above, but I think you are trying to explain away what might be a ticking time-bomb.

I can't start my car with the garage closed either, as I will die from asphyxiation.
