Can prespool aid non-sequential boost control?

I am on the fence between going non-sequential or trying to rebuild a better sequential without the use of an aftermarket ECU. I have the turbos out of the car and they look grim, but I think that they passable for a few more miles of ringing their necks.

My main concern is in keeping the boost down to 10 PSI using the NS setup, but I don't think that it is possible with the current NS method.

With the Sequential setup I can modify the overal boost by manually adjusting both WG and PS, and I would like to adapt the same principles to the NS.

I figure this could be done on NS by using the manual bleed valves with the stock acuators to control the WG and PS doors to further control boost buildup.

I also have tought of using an adjustable rod on the PS to gate to dial in the right amount of final boost.

My only concern with this setup is that spoolup time would suffer, but I am not sure 100%.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Further modify WG?
10 psi is the ceiling!

Current mods:
Foam cone intake
Gutted Precat
OE Main Cat
M2 Catback
M2 Aluminum FW
M2 Alt/WP pulleys
OE IC W/ported OE elbows
Port match intake
Soon to port match compressor/y-pipe joint.

Calling all fully Non-sequential guys out there. Do any of you guys run stock ECU with your Nonseq setup? I need help before I start welding and can't go back.

I don't think that prespool will help you control boost when you are setup nonsequential. If you think about it all prespool does is let the vented exhaust from the primary turbo go to the secondary turbo. Therefore the exhaust does not bypass the turbos like the wastegate allows it to do.

I'm talking about a full non-sequential. There seems to be a problem with limitig the boost to below 14psi from what I have read. I don't want to do the poor man nonsequential if I don't have to.

Also, I want to repair the cracks on my secondary turbo manifold and this is how I am going to do it. I will first drill out the cracks and the make a steel torque plate. I will then preheat the manifold to 300 degrees before having it immediately welded. Does anyone see this as a big no-no?
