Can Lucus stop oil leak be used in a rotary?
I think I already know the answer but I will ask it anyway.
I have a small oil leak at the seal between the rotar housings. can runs perfect. no smoke on start up a and perfect compression.
Will the stop leak hurt the oil injection system?
Thanks

Don't use it. You may ruin other things that are not related to the leak. What will it do inside the high temperature turbocharger. Take the time and money to fix it right. Is a blown engine worth $5 of stop leak??
Tim
PS there is a spray on stop leak that sprays on the outside to seal a leak. I would recommend this for your situation before putting anything in the oil.

Doubtful, it doesn't act like plateletts in a bloodstream, it has a chemical formula that swells the seals to stop the leaking. Most Oil Stop-leaks will not reduce pumpability and will not clog the OMP. However, will it burn cleanly? That's another question.

PS- WHAT'S THE NAME OF THE SPRAY?

Sorry I never followed up, I don't know what the name of the spray is, but there are several brand names. I think one of them is made by Permatex. It adheres to the surface and seals by surrounding the leaking area with a rubber type seal
