No need to, they are rubber coated so they seal and can be reused when you take the components off. The spray won''t hurt anything but you don't need it.

Hmmm, I don't see why not, but I don't think there would be a need for anything like that on those gaskets..

 

I noticed that some of the coating on my gaskets was beginning to flake away, so I'm going to start using gasket sealer on the flaking gaskets and replace the gaskets that have lost some of their coating.

 

i went ahead an used it to be safe. Mine too were starting to flake. Thanks guys, finally almost finished with my non-seq/egr,aws,double throttle and airpump removal project. Feels good, ecspecially since i made all my own plates Now i just need an alternator belt to hold over until i get the pulley set.
