Can I Use Any Kind Of Seal For The Coolant Filler Neck
hey guys im going to do the watertemp mod and my thermostate is stuck or is closed i cant remember witch one it is when my car goes to or near H after i warm it up but any how when i take the filler neck off can i use any kind of seal or do i have to get a gasket

The filler neck does not have a gasket. The thermastat has a rubber o-ring surrounding it and shoud come with the replacement. I don't know what you mean by water temp mod. You may have to start attending o-ring denial anonomous therapy.

i know guys but i just hate to do the engine rebuild lol well i dont have white smoke in the rear, and my vac is about 17 at idle and between 20 and 25 so thats good but just wanted to know if the filler neck had a sealent or gasket like the water pump

HEY GUYS AND RZPGRABIAN I WOULDNT FLAME YOU, YOUR GIVING ME YOUR HELP SO ITS KOOL BUT I HAVE NOW IF YOU CAN BELIVE 120.000 MILES AND MY COMPRESSION IS STILL GOOD, DO OIL CHANGES EVERY 1500 MILES AND I DID ALL THE COOLANT UPGRADES AND EVERYTHING BUT THE AST REMOVAL BUT LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
