Can I Remove the Flapper at the Charge Control Valve?


I did Rikki's non-seq mod. I been only getting 8psi.
And I keep hearing this tap noise at idle.
Could be the reason why I'm not getting enough boost or at least the reason for the tap noise....

I was only thinking wire it to make sure that is the problem. If it really was, would it not be easier to pull the Y-pipe, split them apart, and remove the valve?

Yup, i did .. make sure to remove the actuator and cap off the lines also.
