can i drive my car back?

i posted a thread about some mods i was getting done to my car. now i know i must add fuel because i got a 3 inch exhast done with and electronic cutout and an upgraded intercooler, koyo radiator, intakes, downpipe, and pulley kit to eliminate the smog pump.

that being said, im planning on getting a walbro fuel pump, larger injectors(any ideas how big ill need them?) and a PFC.

but in the meanwhile will i be able to even drive my car home? its a 45mile drive from sacramento to stockton on the freeway. the exhaust will have a silencer so im sure that it will provide some restriction and im planing on driving only cruising speeds all the way back(60mph). will i have any problem by driving back? or should i get the car towed? i really dont wanna mess it up so i would be willing to get it towed if necessary....

No hard acceleration, and you will be fine. Get a boost controller.

No boosting or your car is toast! Shift at 2000 rpm! Cruise at 45 mph in 5th gear! DON'T PASS 2500 RPM!!!

Right....if he hits 2600 rpm, he'll blow the motor.

Just drive "casually" and don't exceed 10 psi. Done.

If the car creeps it can very easily pop your motor on one time. Its not a gauruntee, but it is pretty dangerous. However, I don't see why your mechanic is taking your car for joy rides.

Wot = Wide open throttle...

Creep when the wastegate is not large enough to get rid of the excess exhaust that would make the turbine go past 10 or whatever you have it set to PSI....
Wastegate gets rid of any exhaust that's not needed to maintain set boost ... hence "waste" gate... if you can't get rid of enough gas to maintain set boost, your boost will slowly increase unless one of 3 things happen, boost goes up untill turbine cannot spin any faster, motor blows becasue not enough adequate fuel @ proper oct is added. Or You let off the accelerator....

so adding filling my tank with 100oct gas would potentially aid in the ride home? thanks for the input so far everyone....still nobody has given me a ballpark figure for my rwhp gains though

I'm just curious, but who gave you this idea of getting an electronic cutout?

well my friend has a supra....95 i believe ,turbo upgrade..all these nice things, he got his electronic cutout and it sounds AMAZING!!!! he just hated that fact that a muscle car would pull up next to him and rev his engine and it would sound so much louder...so with the flick of a switch he would put all those cars to shame....after leaving them so far behind..lol i think all of us would agree that we hate being called out by muscle cars... do u guys think ill be able to take out his supra? i believe he runs very low 13s
