Can blown side seals cause heatsoak?

I recently had a radiator flush/fill/burp due to a burst turbo coolant hose. Now the car has EXTREME gurgling under the thermohousing and going to and from the AST. This is only after engine shutdown. I mean it is LOUD, and it has a rhythm like a coffee pot percolating and can be felt thumping thru the small hoses. The tech has never seen an FD with such extreme heatsoak or boiling before, even after easy driving. Coolant is full and was re-burped and pressure tested for 6 hours. Engine compression is above 9 on all cycles. No smoke/steam on start-up, only a slight underhood coolant smell when heatsoaking. Temps are ok during driving. Sounds like it will pop my AST or blow a hose at any time while parked. (Yes, I ordered a pettit AST). Any suggestions or advice?
