Camber correction kits, i need em!!!
Ok, after 2 sets of rear tires... its pretty obvious that they wear A LOT faster than the front. The 275s are much more apparent than the older 255s. Yes yes i know what negative camber does to the tires , its not the rear tires soley because those are the driving wheels.
Why bad camber? Apexi N1 Coilovers
Thank you for the help, hopefully these won't be too expensive... however in the long run it will save me a lot of $$, not to mention look cleaner

Bad camber because you probably did not do an alignment after lowering your car. Thank god the 3rd gen does not need a 'camber kit' - the various alingment 'adjusters' (can't think of the proper term off the top of my head, hehe) is built into the suspension. Take it to an alignment shop and have it aligned. The 'adjusters' are probably hiding under road crud....

I have to agree with Dclin... you should just do an alignment...It really all depends on that and what kind of driving you do.. If you have you car setup for autoX's..with big camber...ofocourse the tires are not going to last as long..

The larger and wider your wheels the less camber you want to run. The Work shop manual calls for --- front camber = 0.1* + or -0.75*
rear camber = 1.22 + or -0.50*
But this is with 16x8 wheels. Pettits handy dandy sales catalog calls for all the settings to be different with larger wheels.
Pettits settings for 18" wheels are--- front camber 0.0
rear camber 0.8
0.0 camber sounds odd but factory settings are almost straight up anyway.
Thats camber. Toe is important also. If you put 1/16 toe in at the rear it will put the contact patch of the tire flater to the road in straight line driving and also help a ton with power on over steer. Keep the toe in the front to zero. The 3 rd gen suspention is excellent stuff with a huge range of adlustment and none of the parts need to be replaced for street driving.
