I've recently purchased an rx7 which was originally a California Car. I know the Cali cars have all kinds of emissions parts that a rx7 in any other state do not have. I live in MN and there aren't any emission tests. I was wondering since im doing a rebuild right now and the engine is out if I could remove any of the CA emission stuff without damaging the car or do anything that wouldn't require me to spend additional money?

Yes there is a lot to remove and make it more simple. I do not type well so I will let others tell you .So get ready to make it simple and faster . Most things require labor and little money .

 

Block off plates:
AWS -3k idle when starting the car
EGR -recirculates exhaust gases to intake
ACV -directs air to air pump
Air pump removal -pumps air into the exhaust
M2 air intake
Downpipe
Midpipe
Muffler
But you'll need a new ECU or replacement.
