You can run 25 psi of boost on stock ports, street ports, halfies, etc...the only difference is the power curve.

So yes you can run that much boost on stock ports.

although a bit harsh I tend to agree. let us know what turbo, and what your fuel system, and engine management is. would help us answer your question. if the question is stock ports alone, you'll be just fine.

That doesn't has as much to do with port size, rather than tuning, charge temps, etc.

I sometimes wonder how you are so patient on this forum with your answers

your fuel pump will not flow enough fuel to run 25 psi and since your sig says aiming for 600 i would add another pump before going to the dyno. I have pretty much the same setup as you except I run an R-85 and my pump couldnt flow enough right around 500whp

Don't you mean E-85? Nevertheless, I think it is wise to upgrade pumps or at least add a second supra pump, yet it isn't required. The reason 1wide7 didn't have enough fuel to break 500 is because he was running E-85. The engine requires 15 or so more % of fuel than conventional gasoline to acquire the same afr's and horsepower.

Regardless, one supra pump will get you to 500 whp on racegas, but why? 600 is out of the question.

Good luck.

You could replace "stock ports" with "stock muffler" or "stock intake" and the answer would remain the same - yes you can.

But it will not perform as highly as a ported motor.

No, he meant R85 as he actually typed. It's a turbo.

Trjackson are you sure one supra pump can run that boost level? Have you done it before on your car? I've post this before, since i have one supra pump, and want to boost 27lbs on my R85 turbo, and well known members state that it will not,and that you will need 2 supra pumps for the flow.

1wide7 what is your pump setup, you said that you ran out of flow on your r85, was that with a single or dual pumps?

Sorry for confusing R85 with E-85, late night reading/posting owns me.

Have I ever used one supra pump for 500 whp, no. However, several cars I have personally seen have. Do I recommend it, HELL NO. To the OP, run two pumps.

/thread.
