A/C question
Hey,
Does anyone know off-hand what happens on the throttle body when you turn on the A/C. What makes the idle go up? Does the throttle linkage itself move, or does one of the solenoids open?
Thanks,

Yes, but the ECU doesn't do that by magic. The ECU has to open something on the throttle body: Either it has to open the throttle plates or open of the solenoids that controls the idle speed. The electronic signal on the ECU has to translate into some mechanical movement of the components that control the idle. My question is, what does the ECU move: the throttle linkage itself or one of the solenoids.
