A/c Condenser opinions/size?
I am in need of a new condenser since mine has a hole in it and I also want to convert to 134a. I was just curious what size I should get since my fd is my dd and I cant really take things apart to measure it until I do the actual install.
I was also curious if you guys think the condensers sold on this site would work well http://www.ackits.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Parallel

There is a difference in condensers between your 93's R12 system and the R-134a system used in the '95 RX-7. For one thing, the '95 condenser had an extra fin or fins on it. There may be other differences too. Can you just retrofit a complete '95 system to your car?
If not, I'd recommend getting a competent shop to re-engineer a good system for you. Just throwing a hodge podge of parts at it sounds risky to me.
And then the other question is why not just repair your existing R12 system? That would seem like the easiest course. R12 is still available and not prohibitively expensive and when you consider the total price of the two jobs, R12 may be the cheaper way to go.

Thx for the tips. I honestly would rather stick with r12 because I have heard its more efficient than 134a, its just that people i know have told me that finding someone to recharge it is difficult and could cost around 300 just for the recharge.
I want to start looking into freeze-12, and maybe just find a condenser in the classifieds section.

OK, I haven't done it ... yet. But, I do plan to add AC to a LS1 FD. My understanding is that people typically go with the GM compressor and condensor and have a shop fab lines to fit the different fittings.
So ... you could probably go with a R12 condensor that fit (like the one you found) and have the lines fabbed by a local AC shop. And I also plan on going with freeze-12...
Good luck!

Will work for horsepower
10.5 x 24 is the stock size condenser. 12 sells for about 60-70 $ per lb. I would replace cond and use a replacement for r12! You will still have to deal with the line match up. Check into repair of you condser coil. GOOD LUCK

Thanks guys so much, u've been a lot of help. Just one last question, I can possibly get a condenser from a 94 fd, would it match exactly like my stock one (93 fd touring) and would i have to change any fittings if I use freeze 12?

Bite the bullet and go with R12. Your in Naples, FL, and you need all the cooling you can get. Also, by sticking with R12, you can go to just about any A/C shop for a recharge/repair. Most shops won't touch anything but R12 and R134a.
Every refrigerant has to have it's own fittings to alert the technician and NOT to ruin their equipment.
