Buying Unseen RX7

Hi, I’m thinking of buying a 1992 RX7 Type R from Japan, to use as a track day car, can someone point me to some sites where I can get up to speed quickly on buying RX7s. What to look for, what to avoid etc etc.

The Jspec FDs were available from the '92 year onwards (meaning labled a '92, not just available in '92).
