Buying a gen 3

OK, i know you all answer tons of these but here is another one. How hard is it to fix up this gen 3 gen 3

look ok? I'm thinking about buying it and fixing it up. Sould i go for it? I'm in college so i will not have a lot of time. Or should i slam 12K down on one with no problems?

any Input is great!!

thanks

6.5 isn't great for compression either it should read in the high 7's or mid 8's....
