I'm gonna get flamed for this but oh well... Here's how you do it.... you continuously bring up the imperfections of the car and lowball him... and try to relate to something and become his temporary friend... typically once the emotion and ego goes away he's more willing to take YOUR price. 16k for that combo is too high in my opinion. No reliability mods... hmm it probably needs a rebuild. Tell him that because it has no cooling/reliability mods that the low mileage is worthless and it will require a rebuild within 10k miles and therefore it's only worth 10grand. Just some tips. Don't act impressed with the car and don't buy on impulse. I emphasize the lowballing and degradation of his ego. It'll work.

you know that 93s are nothing like 94s or 95s...having owned both a 93 and 94 I say only look at 94s. The interior is way better it has another air bag, the engines SEEM to last longer imo not having the water seals problem. Its just a much much better car overall. You wont hear people talking about it on the forum because most have a 93 since 1Ok of those and only 3k 94s were imported. Youre offer is reasonable and its prob a really nice car with low miles but it will start to fall apart on you faster than a 94 will and the engine has about 25k miles to go probably
look out for a low miles 94 and youll be so much happier
