Question buying a 93 rx7 engine & turbos bad

Hi. I've found a 93 rx7 for 5k but the engine and turbos may be on there last leg. I wold not have the money off hand to replace them. Is this a good buy and what could happen to the car if it is driven everyday.

Should this car be bought for less than 5k or is it still a good deal? Body and interior is in fair condition.

I would like to get my first fd. Would this be a good deal or should i be looking for something more expensive and possibly more reliable?

Why do you think the engine & turbos are almost done? Just curious. Thing is, if you replace/rebuild the engine & turbos, then you'll know exactly where you're at.

If the engine is almost done & is driven daily, it will probably start eating the coolant and overheat. Just don't take any long trips if you don't trust it.

I'd say 5 grand is a good buy.

Looks like a good deal, if your that worried about the engine get a compression test. If your good with cars you can do a rebuild for pretty cheap... 2k and less. Thats assuming you pull your old motor and install the new. If your even more into cars buy the seals and do everything yourself at a lower cost. Anyway 5k is a good deal, I have seen blown engine FDs go for 8k.

Depends, new engine and turbos can be very costly depending on the total problems.
I sent you an email about this.
