leather seats: buy sparcos -> $1000
door locks: buy used -> $200
black smoke means too much fuel... maybe adjust your A/F... thats really cheap to buy it for! i'd say go for it at that price, but if its that cheap, something has to be wrong also...

Hell, if the motor was blown, $7000 is a deal! Buy it now, before somebody else does...

plan on spending an extra $5000 minimum on it. if you can afford that, then i'd say its ok. you also need to check the condition of the tranny and rear as well as the turbos and interior stuff. you get what you pay for.

The black smoke is prob condensation in the exhaust if it only lasts on start up which is normal but should not last any longer than a few seconds otherwise its prob not burning all the fuel. Make sure u check for leaking oil and that the smoke isn't blue (burning oil). Have u checked the boost pattern and temp gauge on test drive? 7k seems almost too good to be true so make sure u have checked everything. if u buy, u are looking at a few grand for fix up (Seats, locks, new vacuum hoses are always a good idea as is an oil change, radiator flush, spark plugs+wires, and the removal of the pre-cat if not already done) hope i helped

you should try to talk him down just a bit more, but I agree 7k is a great deal for a running 7, i'd jump on it if I were you.
