My fd 93 base model mcame with 16" gold center alumnium lip bbs wheels an aftermarket market alarm and an annoying back up beeper it came with the original mannuel wich contained an original sales reciept for 28.900.00$also said the car had was equiped with a gold package included rims ect. this is no joke do not have any pics but this is how the car sits. wondering if it may be worth something extra since it is the only gold package fd I have heard of.

Most likely it was a stand alone dealer option....(Not mazda endorsed) I don't know this its just a guess.

do the bbs's have any mazda markings cast into them?

Those aren't options from Mazda.

Perhaps those are items installed by the dealer?

I had a parts car with the gold emblems too....I figured some jackass used the gold plating system to give it some bling.

Probably a dealer add-on.

If it wasn't listed on the original monroney label (the main big window label.. the ONLY one that matters) then it is NOT done from factory. simple as that. if it is listed on a tall, narrow sticker.. it is add-oh. Many dealerships use this sticker to tack on extra profit. You do not have to pay for such items. it is pure gross profit for dealerships.

I am a car salesman. trust me on this one. My dealership has since gone to a motto of: No Side Sticker Mark-up. even on Corvettes, we dont sell them above MSRP. could make alot more money, but we dont practice that.

I've heard the chrome wheels were a dealer add-on too.

Unless were talking about some muscle car (like a yenko) where the dealer options are acually worth something..
