bushing or bearing?

If I lift my car I can slightly move the rear wheels side to side. Not enough that I can feel it but enough that it will make a pretty good clunking sound. It only dose this side to side, no movement at all top to bottom. Is this a sign of bad wheel bearings, bad bushings, or nothing to worry about since it doesn't move enough to feel?
thanks,
Tom

...not a deffinite answer, but when my wheel bearing went out on an old car I had, the wheel had play on the hub in any direction - top to bottom & side to side. If you don't have play top to bottom then it's likely not the wheel bearings.

It's much more common to have bushing problems in the suspension anyway... especially in the 93.
