bronze rims on a cym?

i'm tryin to decide on some new rims... i was either gonna get bronze 17" volk se37k or 18" gunmetal le37t for my fd. i sort of wanted get 17s cause i don't even make enough horsepower to make use of 18s and plus the possibility of rolling my fenders isn't so appealing. if anyone has any pics of bronze rims on a yellow car, please post them.

someone on here posted a pic of bronze rims on a CYM FD a while ago, and it was unbearably ugly, IMO.

on the other hand, gunmetal and black rims look really nice on CYM FDs! go with 18" gunmetal LE-37Ts.

just my .02

I agree. I have not seen bronze on yellow, but I imagine that the gunmetal or black would be more appropriate.

I never seen a CYM FD with bronze wheels, but I saw a Yellow Honda S2000 with Bronze TE37, MAN....... that's terrible, but that is just my opinion.... go with Gunmetal, since that is bigger in size that should be cool.

bronze is alright, but flat black or gunmetal is the way to go with yellow

I agree with Gunmetal. It WILL look better.
I saw a CYM with Gunmetal wheels. It looked REALLY good.

How does the gunmetal look on a black FD? I was thinking of going this route.

Normally I'm pretty liberal when it comes to car/wheel combos, but I'll have to agree with the rest of the responses. Bronze wouldn't look bad at all, but gunmetal/anthracite would look far better. Since you're considering them I say get the LE37's definately. They're incredible looking, light, and did I say they look sweet Another choice might be the Kenesis K5's. They're not really gunmetal per-se, but they have that kind of appeal to them. Or how about some OZ Superleggera's? Oh and definately stay away from gold rims. They're pretty rough on a cym, but on a black/dark car they look great. I was gonna get some bronze RH CP035's for my FD had I decided to keep it.

I'll throw some fuel on the fire and say that I think Bronze would look the best... gunmetal or anthracite on yellow with those Volk's would just make you look like a Z06 wannabe!
