Broken IC hose

would a broken Ic hose make the car idle low and a bit shaky?

Nope, car will run fine with a broken IC hose, a missing IC hose, or a missing IC. The car could care less what's up before the throttle body. After the throttle body is another story.

Make sure to check your MAP sensor vacuum line - if it's popped off, your car will run terribly.
