broke a part

my boost has been kicking in late. so I checked if my turbo precontrol value was open, I think it is. so I took the turbo precontrol actuator and tried to adjust it but the damn thing broke and i how another one, so i tried agian but that one broke (it was a broken one anyway). so hopefully a junk yard well have one, and if thats not that problem, im going to be so mad!!

so does anyone know which way the actuator has to be pulling the values (precontrol, wastegate, turbo control). are they being pulled to the primary???

The turbo pre-control actuator pulls a gate towards the front of the car to seal off exhaust from the secondary turbo. It then pushes the gate towards the rear of the car to open the gate that allows exhaust gasses to pre-spool the secondary turbo.

I had a hesitant primary spool up and it turned out to my be turbo pre-control actuator. Prior to adjusting the rod, I was only making ~7psi at 3,000rpm. Now, I can make 10psi before 3,000rpm. The threads on mine were seized pretty badly, so I had to remove the actuator from the mount and get a good set of vice grips on it before I could shorten the rod (to allow the gate to fully close, thus the primary can get all the exhaust gasses it needs to spool up at the right time). I reccomend you take it off, and hold one side of the rod with a desk vice grip, then go at it with another vice grip of some sort. Don't forget to use spray lubricant on the threads before you go at it.
