Broke my P/S pulley... want to keep stock diameter, what are my aftermarket options?

Hey guys,

I was degreasing some parts tonight and broke my P/S pulley.

I want to keep stock diameter... but i want to consider my aftermarket options.

Can anybody guide me in the right direction?

Re-Amemiya has one, not sure about the diameter though.

Well with my engine removed i took off my accessory rack to mount my engine to the stand... Then today i took on the job of degreasing/cleaning all of my parts that are lieing around.

I didnt have the right tool, so i foolishy tried to jimmy the PS pulley. One small peice chipped off, so i continued to destroy the pulley until i undid the bolt (70+ ft/lbs.. that bitch was on there!!).

I guess ill either have to find a stock replacement belt.. OR cough up the money and get a full pulley set..

I wonder what the pros/cons are to a full pulley set. Rx7store.com says 16-20hp, at the cost of what? difficult steering? dim lights?

I used the metal center hub from mine and my son made a pulley from alum to match the other ones we made , I pressed the hub in the pulley and all worked well .He made two or three of them as I remember .Take your broken parts to a machine shop and have them make one .

No matter where you buy the pulley it should be the same diameter as the stock one unless you custom make your own, the most popular place to buy one is at Unorthodox Racing but SR Motorsports also has one which is what I have.

Unorthodox definitely has them and in stock configuration. The best way for removal is an impact wrench. Next to impossible to hold the pulley and loosen the nut without breaking it.
