Breaking in the Engine - Properly - Oil and How To's PLEASE HELP!

That is simply not possible if your car is working right (well, if you remove the wastegate pill/turn your EBC off, it may be possible, but very difficult). In 4th or 5th gear, your turbos should spool damn near instantly to 10 psi above 2500 rpm, even with gentle throttle. Hell, on the freeway, just going up one of the many hills here, the car will boost a few psi just maintaining speed. I hit 5-7 psi all the time just driving leisurely through city traffic.

If they were sequential on the other hand...
It's possible to stay off of boost for 1,000 miles, but damn unlikely. Not introducing boost until 3,000 miles is ridiculous. For what it's worth, I have 350 on my reman now and I've been giving it 1-5 psi from time to time; actually did a brief run up to 8psi today. I would think 500-700 miles is more than safe for a break-in.
I never had to break in a rotary but when I was breaking in my DD's piston engine, I was going 55 on the highway right when I hit the 500 mark, then i downshifted and floored it
