Brand New AEM UEGO Melted in the sun!!!!

I'm in the process of installing this WB in my FD, it's not even wired yet! It's in the center speaker tri-pod and I left my car outside 2 days and when I went back to continue installation I found out the plastic gauge housing is all deformed due to the heat! My other gauges (VDO boost and oil temp) are ok in the same location... wtf!

interesting, never though they used cheaper plastic, was the part fully inspected prior to leaving it there for 2 days?

i dont know maybe they do use less heat resistant plastic?

LOL, Tom had a small RX-7 model, he had it setting on the dash with the car windos down (car show) and it deformed it pretty badly, I would imagine with the windows up that car would have turned into a plastic puddle. Your gauge housing must not have been formed with a high heat plastic.

Man that sucks. Your center plastic speaker cover on your dashboard can last years, but that gauge melts in two days...
