There's some info for ya. Get slotted. Crossdrilled is just for looks. The holes in cd rotors will develop cracks...

the ones I am looking at are the ones on rx7store.net.
for xdrilled and slotted or just slotted are the same cost. so it wouldnt cost ne more for the crossdrilled.

AWD-RWD racer,

If you plan on tracking the car (road racing, not drag), don't go for drilled rotors. If all you plan to do is street driving and some drag runs, drilled are fine. They are more for looks than anything.

slotted is all you need. the cross-drilled aren't going to help at all, really. cracked rotors aside (which is definitely a risk), a lot of people don't think about the loss of braking surface. the slotted rotors do lose a little braking surface, yes, but it is minimal. especially if you compare them to cross drilled. look at a cross drilled rotor, all those holes take away from the surface area of the rotor, which means you have that much less for your pads to come into contact with.

and who cares if they cost the same? that's like saying i can get pickles on my cheeseburger even though i hate pickles, but they cost the same, so why not?

if you want an awesome setup that won't break the bank, get slotted rotors, upgraded pads, stainless lines, and good brake fluid (like motul rbf600). you will have no complaints and it will cost a whole helluvalot less than getting bbk's.
