brake pedal

Does any one know how to disable the switch so that i dont have to push in the clutch to start the car. normaly it doesnt bother me but, lately i have to push the pedal so hard that its about to break through the floor board.

Look at the pedal. The switch should be right there. It sounds like the switch has come loose, is going bad, or you have a floor mat bunched up under the pedal.

I know were it is. I just want to know if i cut the wires and countect them if i can disable that. also Im going to get remote start on my alarm. And you have to disable that switch

The switch might be "normally open" and it might be "normally closed." You will either need to short the two wires to make it work (just connect them together) , or leave them open. It shouldn't take too much time to just try it both ways, it will either work the first time or it won't.

unplug the connector, Then on the harness side ( not the pedal) make a jumper wire to connect the 2 wires. then you are all set. Just make sure you always remember to check that you are in N before starting the car

I did the same thing because it was easier for me to test things without having to get in and out of the car to start it. Works fine with no ill effects.
