Brake pad change questions about pins
I just replaced the rotors, pads, and lines. I have a question about the front. Are the two M shape pins that pushes the brake pad away from the rotors suppose to touch the rotors. By the time I noticed it, the other side was already done and I couldn't use it for reference. Both of the M pins sit on the rotors...it just doesn't look right even though it fits perfect. Are those M pins suppose to float above the rotors? Here is a picture:

The clips don't actually push the pads back. What they d is dampen noise and vibration. You seem to have them correctly installed. Make sure you have the U shaped portion sitting flush on the pads. The ones one the right are okay, the ones on the left need to be pulled up. Toyota had the same setup, pretty mu any 4 piston caliper has these.

On your photo, the clip on the left needs to have it's "ears" on top of the caliper like the other clip is.
It absolutely should NOT touch the rotor. You may want to try swapping position to see if that helps or you may just need to bend them up a bit.
