When driving very slow (parking lot speeds) and coming to a stop my brakes will sometimes grind. Very intermittent and only when coming to a complete stop. Also, sometimes the ABS light will come on. Again very intermittent.

Braking at higher speeds never gives any issues.

Thoughts?

 

Perhaps just your brake pads? Probably not low on pad material, but some pads if not cooperating with the rotors well enough, will squeak at low speeds. Do your brakes noise up during early morning rides? or just whenever?

 

It is a pretty noticeable grind when it happens. No real consistency as to when it happens either. Very strange. Not a squeak or anything like that. I also had a few times where I push the pedal and it won't go down I will have to pick foot off pedal a reapply pressure. Very seldom but it has happened. Again at very low speeds.
