Brad Penn Partial Synthetic good for 13b?

Trying to search all over the internet but does not seem to have a lot of info on people using Brad Penn Partial synthetic on rotary, so wanted to ask.

My still have OMP and I also premix 0.5oz/gallon of fuel.

Just wondering if Brad Penn is a good oil to use for OMP rotaries.

Thanks in advance.

I've run it. Never had an issue. Biggest thing is local availability. Usually have to order it.

I don't think there's anything to be lost or gained by using some sort of fancy oil. I've always used Castrol GTX that I can get at any parts store.

I've never seen someone blow up their engine and say "gee, if I would have just used some fancy oil that wouldn't have happened".

Use a decent oil, change frequently, you're fine.

Interesting blog & testing on oil: https://540ratblog.wordpress.com/201...-test-ranking/

Lots of buzz from the company Renewable Lubricants recently, their oil does very well in the tests linked above. They also started making a rotary specific pre-mix: https://renewablelube.com/products/b...-racing-premix
