Bov question

After getting my car back from mazda toady, i noticed they put it so the bov hose goes straight to the crv. The hose from the bov used to go into the intake mani. Which way is the right way??

Well the guy taht works on my car is an rx7 guy, so i guess its ok? But got an answer to the bov? It works and all , just doesnt make a sound.
