bought new fd

Hi all,

Just purchased a 94 last week from L A Motorcars. Heard mixed stories about them but I figured I'll take a chance. Still waiting to get it shipped out to Charleston. Here's the only online pic of it:

I have other's on my computer but don't know how to post pictures here. Anybody in the Charleston, SC area know of a good mechanic for these cars or at least a good parts supplier other than Mazda. I have plenty of experience with "conventional engines" but nothing with rotary. This car will definitely be a learning experience, hopefully a good one.

nice bro, just do a lot of reading and listen to what ryneberg and mahjik have to say here on the boards, they know there stuff. good luck, i have only had mine for awhile and i was a die hard mustang guy, i have fallen in love with the fd.

that sounds like a good deal,as long as they are not BSing about the new motor and turbos. get all of your stock parts from ray crowe at malloy mazda 1880 opitz blvd woodbridge va 22191 phone# 1 888 5333400 we have a crew here in chas and are meeting at the kmart by the mall in n chas today at 2. Palmetto mazda in w ashley has a good rx7 guy,but they are a dealer(pricey).For general auto things i use rc muffler in moncks corner on s live oak dr.Good luck with your new ride. eric

Thanks for the info. From what I heard Lance is a pretty honest guy but he's also just a dealer. I'm having the car compression tested at Rotary Performance but like anything I take words as they are, just words. I'll just have to see when the car gets here. Like most people say, it's a 10+ year old car...
