Thumbs up bought my reman from Malloy

I just bought a reman last week from Malloy and installed it this past weekend. Ray Crowe was wonderful to deal with; call him at 888-533-3400. Mazda reman is $1950 out the door with a $1000 core.

The reman came with a new water pump and thermostat installed, a flywheel and a main pulley. Things I can remember that I added/replaced which were not in the gasket set while in there:

-turbo coolant lines
-rubber water line at top of waterpump housing
-o-ring at base of oil filler neck
-o-ring between throttle body and elbow
-o-rings at base of oil filter stand
-o-ring on oil level sensor in pan
-radiator hoses
-belts
-clutch disc (mine only had 30K on it and looked great, but what the hell; I autox a lot)
-throttle body coolant hoses
-a bunch of studs between the turbos and exhaust manifold that broke
-gasket at downpipe and turbos
-spark plugs
-clutch alignment tool

I am sure I am forgetting some things. Keep in mind I had already done the silicone hoses and replaced the radiator last year. My engine mounts were fine as well as the diff mounts and ppf.

Hey can you get street port motor from them. Did you ship them your old engine? How does that whole core deposit thing work?

I have a Malloy motor, and had dave at kd rotary streetport it. When dave pulled the motor apart, he told me the rotors and housings were brand new

And yes, you just send them your old motor.

I'm about to do the same thing as Rich. Get a reman engine and build it from there.
