Bought another FD

Well I bought a another FD. This time it was locally instead of halfway across the USA. This one is a 94 touring black/tan with 90k on it, glass roof and no spoiler. This car rides with factory 90K suspension SO MUCH nicer than my 93 with brand new pillows, and suspension! It has a glass moonroof, AC is freezing cold, interior and exterior are 9.5/10 and I am pumped about it...however, I did buy it knowing there was a blown coolant seal/low compression...doesn't want to start cold very well, but will after I give it gas. If I drive it a distance and it is warm...forget about starting it again! The funny this is that it drives VERY well, doesn't need aligned, was 2nd owner car garaged all it's life and has a very smooth idle. It does billow white smoke and the vacuum reading is only 14, so obviously Houston, we have problems. I am going to get everything squared away on this one and keep it. In the meantime, my 93 silver/red will be back from the body shop with a perfect body and brand new silverstone metallic paint! That with a perfect interior, perfect exterior, suspension, reliability mods and 2200 miles on the motor (120K on chassis) will make for a VERY nice car for someone since I will be selling it. (see sig, pm for details) Anways, I will get pics up today!

Sounds like fun.

I think a lot of FDs end up trashed when they get to the point you found it - blown engine, owner's gotta sell ... either someone who knows how to fix it buys it or someone who doesn't know premium gas engine oil buys it and runs it into the ground. This one was clearly lucky.
