Bought a 94 FD with no motor..will this set up be wise to use?
Hi first I'm totally new to Rx7 and this is my first one a 94FD.. car came with full roll cage..tranny.with custom supports…big fuel lines..water/meth kit… aeromotive fuel pressure regulated and stuff in pics….. no motor…I see the fuel rail but notice no injectors and I'm not even sure what kind of turbo it is…I bought a spare motor and tranny that was rebuilt and guy was running 99 spec twin turbos on it…I have complete motor from him minus the turbo set up…On this motor should i attempt to put the turbo i have on or go back to a traditional set up? not sure what route to go..any advice...

Looks to be an HKS cast manifold, which is a good thing. cant comment on the turbo itself.
Go the single turbo setup. attempt to put what you have on the engine assuming its in good shape.
its would be a real headache in multiple ways to go back go stock twins, especially if you don't know the car well.
You need top feed injectors in the appropriate height to suit your fuel rail.
One thing you need to consider that could effect your plans is what ECU you have. Do you have an ECU of some sort?

the lim looks fine but just so you know, the looped vacuum lines in the first picture are not needed. those pipes on the out and inside of lim go no where if theyre not plumbed to anything. they just run through the lim. theyre not really part of it.
i would suggest buying an actual bop kit. the ones on there look home made. not that there is anything wrong with that but they look kind of rough.
unless you have a downpipe, you will need to get one made obviously.
if you are going to use that single then the stock intercooler will not work. it will work in the sense that air will flow through it but as far as cooling the air going through it from that turbo, i dont see it working very well.
using that turbo will require quite a few supporting mods and will add up very quickly. putting stock twins back on will allow you to use all of the stock parts and will cost the least.
