'93 Touring

Bought someone's head unit and cd player as mine was screeching and making a terrible noise and the CD player wouldn't accept CD's anymore.

I've got the new one installed, it powers up fine but the ONLY way I hear music is by putting in a tape! New CD player won't accept CD's, FM produces no sound whatsoever and AM produces some light static but will not pick up a station.

Anyone got the answer?

Only thing our of the ordinary is I've disconnected the power to the antenna because the motor sounds bad and wouldn't push up the antenna anymore.

Please help!
