fd getting weak and slow... need help locating the problem

i bought my fd about a year ago at about 77K... it now has 84K... bone stock, a/t.... the car seems to have no low end power whatsoever... before boost i could probably walk faster... and the turbo doesnt seem to be operating at full potential... 25mph up seems to be halfway decent.. but not adequate to times i've located for stock rx7's.. would the motor still operate if the seals were chipped or weak...? if anyone has any suggestions on what measurements i need to take to locate the problem it would be appreciated -casey

do you have a boost gauge? You might have a boost leak somewhere. Best thing to do is if you don't have a boost gauge, get one and then do a boost test. That way you'll know if you have boost leak or not.

Id say your Precat and/or cat could be clogging like hell by now and its sacrificing your flow, in all areas. You much wanna check that out. If you havent gotten a downpipe yet id get one now anyway!!
