boost worries - blow off valve NO noise at all

no boost gauge nor pfc commander but I do feel like i have boost problems

up until 4000 rpm when turbo 2 kicks in i cannot hear any primary turbo noise - my hks blow off valve makes NO noise whatsoever at any point.

am I just being panicy?

Street ported
Twin oil coolers
Dyno’d June 2013: 327hp, 282ft lb torque with a nice ‘safe and durable’ map
Sequential twins work perfectly, all ‘rats nest’ vacuum pipes renewed with silicon.

Battery re-located to rear storage bin to make room for intercooler

Full stainless exhaust 3.5” Nur Spec back box, WGT downpipe, 3.5” straight through centre section.
Apexi active silencer

Just removed hks dump valve replaced with stock and vented to air instead of recirculating to air box

it is releasing now and making sound all the way through as id expect for the turbos

can I leave it like this so that the sound is kept this way?

Also - now knowing the hks valve wont open - i cant see a screw on the back of it - what can i do with it? is it for the trash?

I'm not fluent with the HKS BOV But it probably has an adjustment . that you need to play around with if it does not make any sounds until you are over 4k , or maybe its the position where you put it . WHERE ? did you put it .

THe FD has 2 BOV's

^The FD has one BOV, and one CRV. Both operate differently. One is for secondary turbo prespool (CRV) and the other is just boost venting as per normal (BOV).
