Get the vacuum diagram. The boost sensor needs a direct hose to the upper intake manifold. That plastic tee is a disaster waiting to happen, the boost sensor is the #1 primary input to the ECU, if you have a bad signal or that tee breaks you'll have a bad day.
Run a line straight to the appropriate nipple on the back of the UIM and find out what that other line that is teed in is for - as CR-Rex stated most likely a boost gauge or boost controller. There's an unused nipple on the left side of the UIM that most use for a boost gauge.
