boost sensor question
I just rewired most of my drivers side harness B/C I thought I was getting a bad conn @ the boost sensor. Turns out i also must have a bad sensor as well. If and that's if I can get the light to go out by playing with the connector (which is now brand new) I get either 5 miles down the road or 1 boost up and the sensor looses contact again and I go back to a very slow limp home mode.
My question is I know the outside of a TII FCs pressure sensor is different but is the pricipal behind it about the same? In other wards just rewire a TII boost sensor to work on the FD?
I just don't have $380.00 right now to fix this and she just so happens to be my main transport right now.

No offense, but your troubleshooting hasn't even proven you have a bad sensor. Hook up a Mity-Vac to the MAP sensor and measure the voltage coming from the sensor. Make sure it is within factory spec -- as in the FSM.
