I can't get any boost in first gear, does anyone know
what would be the cause of this.

 

So you are saying you will get boost in 2nd gear, 3rd and 4th, etc.

That doesn't quite make sense why you are not getting boost in 1st, but I would check for any visible signs of boost leak, do the easy stuff first.

yes 2nd and 3rd gear I have no problems with boost. Would having my turbo's ported and clip have anything to do with this.
