Boost Problem

HI

I recently read a thread regarding the owls under the bonnet. I have something similar under mine at the minute. However I also seem to have a boost problem on the first turbo as well. I have an aftermarket dump valve that was working fine up until the weekend. When I reach the rev point for the first turbo its as if theres a restriction and the turbo is not spooling up, and when I lift there is no reaction from the dump valve except for the odd time and we get the owl sound. When I really hit it the second turbo cuts in with a serious wallop, major lag. I'm just wondering if any of you guys have experienced the same thing and what I should be looking for. I also have an oil mist coming from the dump valve. Would this be an indication that the turbo is on the way out??
Appreciate any help

B.

Start with the boost test:

Just by your quick description, it sounds like a possible problem with the Turbo Control Actuator/Solenoid system. However, your description is a little vague so start with the boost test and go from there.
